Qathês-píi Fêqê (/ˈsoʃɘ/ /p˔i/ [obese] [mirror]) is a temperate Town located in the Z̄upaguv Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Qathês-píi Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Qathês-píi Fêqê was founded by Kthîbê Dyënh, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Qathês-píi Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). Qathês-píi Fêqê receives an average of 74 cm/y (29 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Qathês-píi Fêqê covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 9594 m (-11473 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Qathês-píi Fêqê was founded durring the early 15th century in summer of the year 1413, by Kthîbê Dyënh. The establishment of Qathês-píi Fêqê was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Kthîbê Dyënh electing to pay people to resettle in Qathês-píi Fêqê.

Qathês-píi Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qathês-píi Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Qathês-píi Fêqê is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of narrow cobblestone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Qathês-píi Fêqê's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The town's political statment focused walls are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Qathês-píi Fêqê is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. There’s a patern to the panic. It’s not easy to see, and no one quite agrees on what it is, but the locals know and operate under this pattern. It shapes everything they do, and you feel as if you’ve almost worked it out only for some small detail to devastate your theory every time you try and comprehend it.

Civic Infrastructure

Qathês-píi Fêqê has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Qathês-píi Fêqê. Cultural Notes

Qathês-píi Fêqê's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is recurring in Qathês-píi Fêqê.

The Beetle, Giant Slicer near Qathês-píi Fêqê are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
